The episode episode talks some issues about Type 1 diabetes.  On the synopsis of the episode, Miley and Lilly learns that Oliver got a Type 1 diabetes and appointed themselves to become Oliver’s personal “food police” at Traci Van Horn sixteenth birthday.  Oliver ends their meddling by educating them about Type 1 diabetes. They learn that they can support their friends no matter what the challenge.

Hannah Montana Season 3 Episode 24: Uptight (Oliver’s Alright) is finally allowed to be on air on September 20, 2009 (Sunday).  They have a altered some of the a little bit on the original story but it still contains the truth about the Type 1 diabetes.  In its statement, Disney said “We sincerely hope you will find that this revised story more accurately incorporates the subject of living with Type 1 diabetes, with the theme of the character Oliver learning to rely on his friends for support, no matter what challenges may arise.”
